Cultivating Curiosity Through Conversation

The more I engage with students, the clearer I become on the kind of educator I aspire to be.

  • One who cultivates curiosity.
  • One who creates the conditions for thoughtful risk-taking.
  • One who encourages students to articulate and refine ideas that are still in formation.

Facilitating learning at the university level isn’t about transferring information. It’s about designing experiences that prompt reflection, critical thinking, and connection.

I’m drawn to an academic practice that is dialogic, intentional, and generous. And I’ve come to believe that making our processes visible—sharing the work before it’s polished—is not only honest, but essential to the kind of learning culture I value.
